"In a recently conducted study, a multidisciplinary French-American research team with expertise in archaeology, past climates, and ecology reported that Neanderthal extinction was principally a result of competition with Cro-Magnon populations, rather than the consequences of climate change."

(Lab Spaces, 29 December 2008) )

In the preceding chapters I identified the remains attributed to Neanderthals as really being those of the Nephilim. Similarily, the bones of Cro-Magnon Man, a tall race of "anatomically modern humans" as they are now classified, as being those of the Watchers.

What I am about to do is to reconstruct the events that took place that resulted in the extinction of the Nephilim, the demise of the Watchers and that led to the ascendancy of modern man. I shall use the records of the ancients, some garbled I admit, but there is enough information found within these to produce a reasonable account of what happened so long ago. Certainly, the theory that I propose herein is no more fantastic than that which those who support the evolutionary point of view present with their 'ape to man' theory. So let me begin.

As man spread away from the Garden of Eden recently located by Egyptologist David Rohl south of Tabriz close to Mount Sahand, they moved into Europe and the Middle East and multiplied. Those of the heavenly council had tasked some of their members to watch over man and to ensure his continued survival, for the world in which he now inhabited was not as hospitable as Eden from whence they had been expelled. Known as the Watchers, they did as they had been commanded, but there were some who looked upon the humans with envious eyes.

Some Watchers became overcome with desire - for the beauty of women beguiled them, their hearts filled with burning lust.

From time to time Watchers were permitted to visit their wards and observe and help them adapt to the conditions that they faced. But to do this they had to take on human form and in this guise they experienced all the sensations that the physical world had to offer. They could taste food, smell the fragrance of the flowers, hear the sounds of nature, and feel the warmth and gentle breezes upon their naked skin. But there was more to flesh that they had not been prepared for, and it was not long before their bodies sought more than sustenance.

As the Watchers mingled with humankind some or them became aware of the beauty of women born of man and desire waxed great within their souls. For some desire turned to burning obsession and one of them Shernihaza, was his name, became overwhelmed by the thought of union with womankind. But he was afraid for he feared retribution from on high if he were to do what his thoughts suggested. However, as he watched others of his kind, he could see that some of them also shared his lust - for that which dangled between their legs betrayed their thoughts.

The Watchers "took as their wives any they chose"

So it was that in the days of Jared, two hundred Watchers 'descended' on 'Ardis', the summit of Mount Hermon equated with the triple peak of Jebel esh Sheikh (9,200 feet), placed in the most northerly region of ancient Palestine. Here they agreed to leave their heavenly realm, to remain in their immortal physical forms and become gods in this world, taking wives as they wished from among humanity. Shernihaza(Semjaza), challenged the others to take an oath to stick with their decision as he did not wish to take all the blame should their act result in punishment. They all took the oath and descended down the mountain to take "as their wives any they chose". This implies that in many cases they may have done so without human consent. In other words women were taken against their will that probably resulted in violence against any men folk who resisted. So it was that the Watchers defiled themselves with women, so that no longer could they return to their former place in the heavenly realm from whence they had been born. The die was cast and there was no turning back, but they remained immortal and now enjoyed the pleasures of the flesh and all that the world could offer to satisfy their sensual cravings.

The Ancient New World Order

The Watchers inhabiting the tall bodies that they had created had made a dreadful mistake. For though they had been witnesses to the creation of man, and they had taken the genetic blueprint for their own bodies from what they had learned, their reproductive functions were flawed. So as children were born of their union with women, they were not quite human. "And from this miscegenation, from this perversion, grotesque beings emerged." (Dead Sea Scrolls- Book of Giants: 1Q23; 4Q531). Of this the Watchers could do nothing and they watched their children grow into powerful and strong beings that were violent by nature and ill disposed to all living things. At the same time, the Watchers added to their crime by interposing themselves over mankind as gods. So it was that all the myths and legends of old describe the time when the human race was the subjugated and oppressed by them as gods.

The Warka Vase showing naked men worshiping their local god with offerings. The Warka Vase or the Uruk Vase is a carved alabaster stone vessel found in the temple complex of the Sumerian goddess Inanna in the ruins of the ancient city of Uruk, in the land of the Watchers. It is one of the earliest surviving works of narrative relief sculpture, dated to ca. 3,200-3,000 BC. Although of a later age, the tradition to worship gods remained.

For example, Sumer, the Biblical land of Shin'ar literally meant the Land of the Watchers. The straits of the Red Sea, which connected Mesopotamia and Egypt, were called Ta-Neter, the 'Place of the Gods ('Watchers'),' the passage by which they had come to Egypt. And in Egypt we read in their ancient writings that "They (ie, 'The Watchers') had come to Egypt from Ta-Ur, the 'Far/Foreign Land,' whose name Ur meant 'oldest' and which later the Biblical records show was the name given to a famous ancient city of a later age.

As for the Watchers progeny the Nephilm, they increased in number and grew more and more destructive. Like their parents they looked upon man with contempt, to be used as servants to be exploited without mercy. And when men could no longer sustain them, the Nephilm turned against them and devoured them. And they also began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish. Finally, the Nephilim turned on one another, stripping flesh from the bones of their fellows and slaking their thirst in rivers of blood.

At first the Watchers enjoyed the entertainment of their sons killing and maiming man for pleasure but soon they became bored with such uneven spectacles of violence. It became necessary for them to intervene, because if man was destroyed, who would be their servants and worship them? So one of their number, named Azazel, "taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals (of the earth) and the art of working them" (1 Enoch 8:1) in order that they may protect themselves.

Wars broke out as man and Nephilim fought each other, while the Watchers gazed upon the spectacle that lay before them. The known world was filled with violence and sexual depravity of all kinds, while the gods continued to satisfy their lust with womenkind. For hundreds of years this wave of destruction washed over the earth, but eventually the anguished cries of humankind were heard and the time of deliverence was at hand.

The Earth was filled with violence as the Nephilim and man fought each other, while the Watchers looked on with pleasure. Tolkien's epic fantasy reflects this scenerio more than people realise.

Retribution

The rebel Watchers continued to satisfy their lust for the pleasures of the flesh and to lord over humankind as gods while their children the Nephilim continued to cause mayhem and destruction throughout the known world. By now the cries of desperation from mankind were being heard loud and clear by the angels, or Holy Watchers, who had remained loyal and stayed in the heavenly realm from whence they were created. Among these were Michael, Uriel, Gabriel and Raphael. These approached the Lord of Heaven and interceded on behalf of mankind speaking of the havoc unleashed upon the earth by the rebel Watchers.

Of course the Lord of Heaven was fully aware of what had befallen man but he had waited until those that had defiled themselves with womankind and had forsaken their heavenly abode to pursue the pleasures of the flesh, had been identified and had condemned themselves so that there was no possibility for repentance. Although to mortal eyes hundreds of years had passed and that judgement had been slow, but for the rebel Watchers, beings that were immortal, their lives on the earth had been but blink of an eye. But now there had been time enough and the cries of mankind could no longer be ignored. Now had come the time of Judgement and the four Holy Watchers were given assignments to carry out the sentence that had been decided upon.

The Nephilim turned on each other and wrought their own destruction. The mysterious extinction of the Neanderthals is now solved.

The rebel Watchers received the word of judgement upon them through the mouth of a righteous man, Enoch was his name. He proclaimed to them that they would find neither peace nor pardon. " For every time they take joy in their offspring, they shall see the violent death of their sons, and sigh over the ruin of their children. They will pray and supplicate evermore, but never shall they attain to mercy or peace."

Terrified, the rebel Watchers pleaded for Enoch to intercede on their behalf and implored Enoch to set up a petition for them and read it to the Lord of heaven, for they could not speak with God as aforetime, nor even raise their eyes heavenward, for shame on account of their sins. This Enoch did, but their pleading was to no avail. The sentence had now been passed and the four Holy Watchers were tasked to carry it out.

To Gabriel was given the task to wreak confusion and destruction upon the children and descendants of the rebel Watchers so that they would kill one another. Their fathers looked on as their children the Nephilim (Neanderthals) turned on each other and wrought their own destruction. The mysterious demise of the Neanderthals (Nephilim) that has perplexed so many anthropologists today has now been solved. But though destroyed in body, their spirits
